Neighborhood Adventures: Greenwich Village

Here are two from Greenwich Village. I focused on the arch. I wanted put more landmarks in the drawings to keep the locations recognizable. I love all the little details it has so i zoomed in on those. I wish i could have done more but i took so long! I am not to happy with these, I am not sure why i struggle so much with drawing on location. I need to let lose somehow.

Hand

We are doing some live painting in Kam Mak's class.. I really enjoyed this one, i have more class left on it to add more contrast and correct tones.

The Sourpuss

As tempting as it is to just do the face, i am trying to make myself do more.

The Giggler

This little old man was so cute. I guess he was reading something funny because for some reason he kept bursting out laughing. At one point he was laughing so hard that i started laughing. I had to make myself stop in fear that he or a bystander would catch me. In the end it was really funny.
